Obituary

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Janice Larue Warren, 84 of Salemburg, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, April 15, at Salemburg Baptist Church, 300 N. Main Street, Salemburg, with Rev. John Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Salemburg Cemetery.

Born April 1, 1934 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of Ennis and Daisy Vinson Horne. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Aaron Warren; brothers, Harold Horne, Leonard Horne and wife, Claire, Bynum Horne and wife, Lilly, Stanley Horne and wife, Maybel, Harry Horne; sister, Eloise Brinkley and husband, Clarence.

She retired from Salemburg Manufacturing Company with 18 years of service and from Warren's Service Center in Salemburg. She was a faithful member of Salemburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela Van Rooyen and husband, Pete of Salemburg; son, Joseph Aaron Warren, Jr. and wife, Linda of Salemburg; grandchildren, Julie Van Rooyen of Richmond, VA, Laural Leigh Warren Faircloth and husband, Joel Faircloth of Salemburg, Joseph Aaron Warren, III and wife, Hannah Brim Warren of Salemburg, Jacob Aaron Van Rooyen and wife, Annie Sessoms of Autryville; great grandchildren, Eva Grace Faircloth, Colby Van Rooyen; sister-in-law, Dorothy Horne of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Saturday, April 14, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home of her son.
