When my family attended the Carter/Howard family reunions I enjoyed seeing Violet. She was usually at my Aunt Lois & Uncle Mack home after the reunion. She was such a sweetheart & was so interesting to talk with. She will be missed by all those that knew & loved her. God bless her family in at this sad time.

Mrs. Violet was a most special part of my life from the time I was born. Her and Mr. Curtis are a close extension of our family, and I loved her with all my heart. We are so saddened by her loss, but know she is where her heart always longed to be...with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We love you and are praying for you Mr. Curtis. And, Ms. Violet, we love you always! Until we meet again...

Preacher Tatum, We are very sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife. She was such a loving person. The Lord needed another beautiful ROSE for His garden so the chose Ms. Violet. It is our loss down her on earth but it is Heavens gain. Tony and I will continue to keep you in our prayers. My Mother (Ruth Wood) always looked forward to seeing you and Ms Violet at all of her birthday dinners. During my Mother's sickness she enjoyed all the visits from Ms Violet and the other ladys that came with her. She will truly be missed. May the Lord Bless you and comfort you during this time of sorrow.
